Bureaus & Working GroupsWithin BABM there are three bureaus, covering several working parties and ad hoc groups. The working groups assist BABM's management in achieving the associations’ goals and objectives.
Marketing Bureau A two-yearly national consumer campaign is developed by the working group Campaign. The working group Seminar, composed of marketing specialists, organises seminars on topics such as A-brands versus Private Labels, innovation and societal and marketing trends.
Commercial Bureau This Bureau sees to the implementation of the AIM Principles of Good Business Practice in the commercial relations between the different economic partners. Analyses of the various aspects of commercial relations are put at the disposal of the BABM members and can serve as a reference in their bilateral relations. The bureau regularly consults with a specialised lawyers’ office in order to act in compliance with competition law at all times.
Logistics Bureau The working groups within this bureau promote projects aiming to increase supply chain efficiency, thus reducing costs in the production and distribution process and optimising the consumer offer in the points of sale. The Supply Chain working group treats all general logistic issues and has published recommendations on various matters in this domain. The Fresh & Chilled subgroup focuses on issues specific to this product category. |
